National Research Institute attended a Zoom meeting today hosted by CEWARN in Add Ababa and attended by the CEWERU steering Committee, NRI and the CEWARN Director, and the CEWARN Conflict Analyst.
The purpose of the meeting was to address the challenges of the NRI operations. NRI is a national institution selected by CEWARN to assist the CEWERU in an analysis of conflict raw data.
The analysis is based on five CEWARN thematic sectors of Economic, Social, Environment, Governance, and Security. The data is used by CEWERU for a local response and CEWARN for a regional response. NRI collects raw data from the Situation Room of CEWERU which is based at the Peace and Reconciliation Commission.
